At The Builder’s Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive—regardless of where they live. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Mohammed Zuberu, a dedicated TeachRural Champion, whose passion for education is transforming young lives.

As part of the TeachRural program, Zuberu launched the “All Must Read and Write” project; a powerful initiative aimed at improving literacy among students in his school. Recognizing the urgent need to strengthen reading and writing skills, he designed a structured approach that combines engaging reading sessions and interactive group exercises during class hours.

His impact speaks volumes: Over 50% of the students he has worked with now read better than they did months ago. His dedication is not only improving academic performance but also boosting students' confidence and love for learning.

Foundational literacy is the bedrock of education. Yet, too many rural students lack the support and resources they need to develop these essential skills.

We are inspired by Zuberu’s efforts and eager to see this impact reach even more students in his community and beyond. But we can’t do it alone.

With your support, we can empower more young people and educators, strengthen rural schools, and ensure every child has access to quality education.

Consider supporting our work today to scale our impact!
