We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Officer to join our team.
The Volunteer Grant Officer will play a crucial role in securing funding for our programs and initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone with excellent writing and research skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and a desire to contribute to meaningful projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grant Research: Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funding sources.
Proposal Writing: Prepare compelling and well-researched grant proposals tailored to the requirements of each funding source.
Grant Management: Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications and reports.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of grant reports, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and highlighting the impact of funded programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant applications and reports.
Database Management: Maintain accurate records of grant applications, submissions, and outcomes in our database.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with current and potential funders through regular communication and updates.
SKILLS
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent research and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
